Make words horizontally, vertically and diagonally, and use the LEX cubes, which can stand for any letter you like. If your opponent makes a word that uses a letter on one of your cards, you steal their points! You can use three- or four-letter words for younger players, and when you're finished, you can pack up the entire game, including the cubes and cards, in the game grid, which also works like a handy carry case. On your marks, ready, steady, Lex-Go!
In time for Christmas with family, this word game for two people can be played by two teams of two as well. It is great for car or train journeys as it is fully portable. The aim of the game is to make a 5-letter word before your opponent does, using cubes with letters. I can see the educational benefit for younger players but even for adults, this is a lot of fun!
