For all pie lovers
5I bought this for my son's birthday. He thinks that he is a pieologist! Wherever he goes he always has a pie and rates it but if the pie does not have a base, he says it is not a pie it's a dish with meat and a lid. So i gave him this pie maker to experiment to make the ultimate pie in minutes, it's easy to use and clean with it's own pastry cutter and recipie book. What's not to like!

salter pie maker
5Delivery of pie maker very prompt. Been delighted with results from the pie maker so far - have made only savoury ones to date using tinned chicken in white wine sauce, stewed steak varieties. This is excellent for quick ready fillings. Used ready rolled shortcrust pastry as well as made our own - both gave excellent results. Used from 'cold' and so pies take on average 19/20 minutes to cook. Tried recipe for the quiche given in the instruction leaflet - again very good; shall try a different mix of flavours next. Will try a sweet pie next - with tinned pie filling for starters. Size of pies very generous - we only needed to serve with accompanying vegetables to make a hearty meal. I am due to go into hospital shortly and this new appliance was intended for my 'non chef' husband to cook himself a good meal easily - it works! Now he has confidence to cook and eat well and try something new. Thank you.

5Reasonably priced and amazing customer service. The pie maker is simply incredible and easy to use I've used it 4 times in the week I've had it!
