5The Special FX Sabre has a super cool noise and good light effects. These will be a birthday present for my soon to be 7 year old. Boys never grow out of Star Wars.

5This light sabre is a great product at an amazing price. Comes with batteries fitted (unlike most toys these days!) Very happy with this gift which I purchased for my son along with the Jedi gown which is also a great purchase.

Great toy - Special FX Sabre
5Bought the light sabre for my Star Wars mad grandson for Christmas. He hasn't stopped playing with it. It's pretty robust and makes the right noises when you swing it around.

Use the force
4I bought this Special FX Sabre along with the Jedi towelling robe and they've both proven to be a hit with my husband! It would have been 5 stars if it had been a little longer for an adult. But for a child it's a perfect length. As other reviewers of the Jedi robe the only issue I have with the purchase of these two items is before receiving these he'd always said that he had a sneaking suspicion he was a Jedi ... now he knows he's a Jedi. Buy both of these for an adult who loves Star Wars and they're sure to be a hit!

Special FX Sabre
4The Special FX Sabre was brilliant and beyond my expectations! It had a great feel and a simple design. Sound effects were really good and the light changed colour when you 'swooshed' it around. It really was my 3 year old grandson's favourite Christmas day present. Shame it only lasted one day, but my grandson is quite full and just goes for it! Nevertheless, even though the plastic blade broke off at the base, it still played the sounds and the lights still work. So, still usable in the dark.

Special FX Ligt Sabre
1Although the Special FX Sabre was quite fun, the light and sound effects entertained initially. Of the three I bought, one didn't work at all and a second snapped at the hilt almost as soon as it was picked up.
