This star means a lot. I bought this gift so my children will have an everlasting memory of their Father. Loved the little silver tin that it came in , it will make keeping it safe that much easier. The plotted star map will also help to locate the star, what a fab present.

I`ve just bought 2 Name a Star kits and could get a couple more before xmas they may not be a present you can hold but for a friend or family member that does not need anything much but wants to be reminded they are being thought of. These are perfect, one went to a friend just out of the cancer ward at the local hospital and the other to a work colleague who has been covering another managers shift for 3 weeks with no complaints. Both got massively positive responses and smiles for days perfect!

This is totally fake this is on Sir Patrick Moore's website and this is what he said ''Various agencies claim to be able to name stars on payment of a sum of money. But stars have not been officially named for hundreds of years. Have nothing to do with a scam of this kind''

Bought this for my daughter to give to her grandparents as she wanted to give something different! Result - grandma was in tears and grandpa was chuffed to be 'immortalised' in the stars! The reaction was more than expected and as an unusual gift, I highly recommend.

I got this star for my husband for Christmas I registed it and named after his best friend who passed away in Oct 09, his reaction was the best ever, it is a gift for life and his best mates name kept alive forever.
