The slippers were a joke stocking filler for our daughter. On her birthday, everyone shuffled around in them, so we found out they did actually work. (Had to send the kids around again to get the bits they'd missed!) Maybe she will wear them in her newly refurbished room, so the floor might survive for a while!

Is not a novelty gift.... Is genius

Bought a couple of pairs as stocking fillers mainly to shame people in to cleaning... However, having steam cleaned my back in to a corner the other day I happened to come across them and busted one open.. Slipped them on and busily skated around the ground floor drying it and picking up the odd grubby bits as I went! Genius! No longer feel nervous about causing offence by giving them as a gift, in fact my brother is thinking of getting some as guest slippers for Xmas as he has polished floors, now that's multi tasking :) !
