Very Thin Glass

I was disappointed with this carafe, the glass is wafer-thin and consequently the glass and bottle are extremely light. It was intended for a child but its much too delicate (and probably dangerous). So, why am I keeping it ? Its very cute, and bigger than I expected, so I hope the adult I will now give it to likes it as much as I do and is gentle with it !
