No tea for us

Very disappointed with the quality of this mug. I got it for my son to give his carer for Christmas. Carer came on shift tonight. Present given. We make a cup of tea the body of the mug separated from the base! Luckily the only casualties were my worktop and floor as the carer jumped backwards. I shall be returning it!
