As it say's on the box its "As seen on TV!", although it was it's appearance on South Park, rather than any infomercial, that made me buy it. As for the product itself, it is very hard to get any physical benefit as the exercises require you to not bend your wrists, which is nearly impossible! However, this was bought as a present for my wife, who got the joke immediately.

Would recommend as a change from regular dumbells.

I was dubious about this product with it claiming to be so more effective than regular dumbells. I haven't had it long and have admittedly only used it a few of times. I followed the ten minute exercise DVD which is included with the Shake Weight and my arms knew about it the next day. So it is doing something! The fitness instructor on the exercise DVD makes the shake technique look easy, however on some of the exercises it is difficult to keep the wrist still as you are shaking it. I would recommend getting it as a change from normal dumbells.

The wife loves this! It's a very easy form of exercise to get rid of "bingo wings", as my wife calls them! It's a great idea, great price and an easy to use product.

This is a great little thing, it might look kinda wrong and it made my fiancé crack up the first time I used it but you can feel the difference after just a couple of minutes. I reckon the bingo wings will be no more when we get married next year.

I just bought it for my girlfriend because it gives her good practice and in recent weeks she really has improved her technique.
