Brilliant gift

Bought this for a 12 year old chess enthusiast as a birthday present. He is totally obsessed with it and has since got his mum to buy him every accessory available. Trouble is he is so good at it no one will play with him so he has joined an online Khet club and is already an "expert" Totally an obsessive gift!!!!!!!

Batteries included, but...

I haven't played a game yet as I bought this as a gift. However, I wanted to say that I bought batteries for this as the listing said batteries weren't included. When it arrived the box said that the batteries were included. But one laser wasn't working so I opened it to change the batteries and discovered that the factory installed batteries were leaking. Luckily, after a quick clean up and installing new batteries the laser is working OK. (I wonder how many more times I can use the word 'batteries' in this review? That's seven times so far!!) I had a quick play around before wrapping it up and am looking forward to a proper game over Christmas. If it is as good a game as it seems then I maybe I should buy some spare batteries (8) just in case.

Just very cool!

Forget the comparisons to Chess, it's totally different and very addictive! Don't expect to actually see the laser beam along the board (as in all the pics) but it's still very cool when it hits a piece. Takes minutes to learn and you won't get bored of this one quickly.

great christmas gift

bought this as a christmas gift for my 11yr old grandson. I am very impressed with how sturdy the pieces are and Ihave not seen this game anywhere else. IWOOT is brilliant.
