As any soldier will tell you, the best time to strike is at night using the elephant of surprise (that may be a typo) and a pair of Night Vision Goggles. Now your kids can experience the thrill of night manoeuvres in your back garden. These goggles will allow them to see up to 15 metres ahead of them in absolute darkness. They look pretty darn cool too. Who hasn't wanted to wear a pair of Night Vision Goggles? Not that anyone will be able to see them of course. The goggles work using infra-red light and at full power the light is still barely visible to the naked eye. Whether you're spotting badgers, owls, or the kids are playing "terrify the bejesus out of each other", these are a heap of fun. They're designed for kids, but we firmly believe that just means the young at heart!

the rules
ok, i bought these for my 9 year old nephew and we've been through all the rules. No skateboarding at night using the night vision goggles. No crawling round in the mud on your tummy at 3am in the garden unless Dad is with you, Actually don't do anything that may get me into trouble for buying you this. 2 months on and this has not gone the way of an ordinary xmas gift. No, instead batteries are willing supplied from his own pocket money. He plays soldiers with them, he plays policemen with them, and my favourite, along with his nerf, he becomes a wildlife vet on the plains in africa, tranqilizing the poorly elephant (his 18 month old sister) and going to the rescue. These are brilliant, and really work. Now please can we switch the lights back on now?

Boys & their Toys!!!
I bought this as a leaving gift for a colleague at work who is into gadgets and gizmo's and after looking at IWOOT website decided he wanted them but couldn't justify paying the money for them...he was leaving work to go to another job and we decided since he had spoken about how great these night vision goggles where and how he wanted them so much we bought them. the surprise on his face was priceless, he absolutely loved them. So I suppose being female I don't understand all the fuss but for someone who has everything and you're struggling for a great gift idea for someone of all ages into gadgets this is it!!

Good fun
I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He thinks it is fantastic! In fact, my two boys both wish that they can have their own night vision goggles for their birthday. The big boy and the two little boys had lots of fun at night playing hide-and-seek and treasure hunt in total darkness. It would be even better if it had stereo-vision. This model only has a camera for the right eye, so it takes some getting used to, and hard to judge distance.

Man toy!
Well I bought these for the kids, (well not really more for me, but justified as a present), what can I say. They're great. You can see in total darkness and really could sneak up on someone and they wouldnt know which is hilarious. I locked the chickens up in total darkness, and have been day dreaming about sitting outside with an air rifle in the black of night so I can blow away any rats daft enough to stray near the chicken house. There no good for charging around the garden at night as peripheral vision is poor but as a laugh to explore the attic keep kids amused for hours, even 37 year old ones.

Got these for my teenage son for Christmas but we all argue over them! The vision quality is great. The only issue is the straps to adjust the size are a bit fiddly. well worth the money though. Great service from IWOOT team as usual. Thanks
