This gift was well received as my secret santa gift to a work colleague. I knew he followed astronomy and he was blown away with the gift. It was presented well with a silver tin and packaging and had all the necessary papers. He already knew which star he wanted to name! A very thoughtful gift.

If your recipient has everything,this is an ideal gift. It comes in a thin metal box, which has them guessing through the wrapping. Very unusual. Instructions are there how to register your star and what to name it. Our star was magnitude 9 which is invisible to the eye, but we did find it on Google Sky, so we now know where it's located. We can pretty much point its location to others. The star was named after a deceased relative, which made it even more special.
