Cows and kettles, intimately linked since the dawn of time. In days of yore it was traditional for cowherds to stand their cows over the fire to warm the milk for their morning cappuccino; when the cows got too hot they would scamper around the field, which would shake the milk up, making it frothy enough for the perfect coffee (er... have you researched this? - Ed). History is, rather surprisingly, none too specific as to the success of this system, but there's no doubt (quite a lot of doubt from where I'm standing - Ed) that this early practice of udder-warming led to the now legendary link twixt cows and kettles.
This whimsical Cow Kettle is a poignant and charming reminder of how far we've moved on as a civilisation. We may no longer warm udders over the open fire (I don't think we ever did - Ed.), but now we can brew up the perfect cuppa in this wonderfully comical cow, and it even whistles when the water boils, just like in the old days... (OK stop it, the whole cow/fire thing was silly enough, but cows have never whistled - Ed). Suitable for any stove, hob, cooker, Aga or range, the Cow Kettle is a delightfully daft and fun alternative to the norm. Pop Ermintrude on for a cuppa.
