Since its opening in 2012, the View from The Shard has quickly established itself as one of the UK;s preeminent attractions. From 800ft above, youll enjoy uninhibited vistas stretching out for up to 40 miles. Twice as high as any other vantage point in London, these really are the best views about. Dining for the occasion will be courtesy of the Marco Pierre White's London Steakhouse Co. - City or Chelsea. Serving up the finest quality steaks, grilled meat and fish alongside impeccable service and stylish surroundings. You and your guest will enjoy a three-course meal with sides finished with aplomb with a glass of Champagne each and take home a boxed London Steakhouse Company Apron.

What happens on the day?

Your ticket for two adults to The View from the Shard should be pre-booked so you can arrive and make your way to the attraction, shortening the time spent in queues.

The two of you can enjoy your entire experience at your leisure, queue and crowd free with no time restriction on your visit, although most people stay for up to an hour. You will be able to take the elevator up to floors 68 and 69 and if youre feeling super adventurous you can go all the way to level 72 which offers you a view like no other. Level 72 is an open top viewing platform, so youll feel free as a bird at 800ft.

On arrival at your chosen, pre-booked, restaurant youll be seated and can start perusing the menu specifically created by award-winning chef Marco Pierre White. A glass of Champagne will be served before the friendly and attentive waiters take your order. You may choose from a range of dishes for each course, along with a side with your main. The menu changes depending on seasonality but is sure to feature the finest quality produce available.

You can choose to enjoy either a lunch or an evening meal at a choice of two restaurants:

London Steakhouse Co. - Chelsea: With its glamorous interior and buzzing ambience, this restaurant attracts a fabulous mix of clientele from locals and tourists to celebrities.

London Steakhouse Co. - City: This authentic-style steakhouse dining room features a stylish cocktail bar and vibrant atmosphere.

Additional side are available and start at £4.75. Tea and coffee are also available at an extra charge.

Please note: a discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to your bill.

At the end of your meal youll get to take home a boxed London Steakhouse Company Apron.

The View from the Shard -

Entry can be booked seven days a week at an allotted time.

To reduce queues and ensure the best possible visitor experience for everyone, admission to The View from The Shard will only be valid on the date and time stated on your ticket once a booking has been made with Virgin Experience Days Ltd.

Tickets for The View from The Shard are non-transferable and non-refundable.

The View from The Shard opens at 10.00. Last entry varies depending on the time of year - please check for exact timings when booking. Bookings can be made between 24 hours and 4 months in advance, subject to availability, with a valid voucher.

The Voucher has a voucher number and PIN which needs to be quoted when booking. Your e-ticket, which will be sent as confirmation of your booking, will include the 16 digit confirmation number to gain access into the attraction or The View from The Shard ticket.

A standard visit lasts approximately 1 hour, allowing ample time for you to relax and enjoy the city skyline at your leisure as there is no time restriction on your visit.

Marco Pierre White's London Steakhouse Co -

This experience is available seven days a week throughout the year (weekends only in December at London Steakhouse Co. - City)

Monday to Thursday: 12.00 to 15.00 for lunch and 17.30 to 22.30 for dinner

Friday and Saturday: 12.00 to 17.15 for lunch and 17.30 to 22.30 for dinner

Sunday: 12.00 to 17.15 for lunch and 17.30 to 22.00 for dinner

Some date restrictions, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day and Valentines Day will apply.

It is recommended that you book a date at least four to six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. This is only a guideline and we advise you to book as early as possible to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on your voucher. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please note there is a 48 hour cancellation policy that applies to all meal reservations, after which time you won't be able to amend or cancel a reservation.

Please allow approximately 1 hour 45 minutes for the whole experience.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and well send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
