Take a trip back in time and tickle a Tapir. These prehistoric looking creatures native to Brazil are friendly and inquisitive and love a tickle! You will be shown into the enclosure with a trained member of staff who will guide you through this experience.

What Happens On The Day?
Your experience starts with complimentary refreshments before being met by one of the Animal Park team.
You will be escorted to the Tapir enclosure for your health and safety briefing.
One of the team will be on hand to assist you to feed the Tapir and to capture wonderful photographs, on your own camera, for approximately 15 minutes.
The package includes welcome drinks and a presentation certificate as proof of your Tickle a Tapir experience. (Lunch is also included at Dartmoor Zoo)
You are welcome to come early and stay late to enjoy the other facilities, animals, shows and attractions.

What You Need To Know?
Minimum age: 8 at Dartmoor and 10 at Paradise Wildlife Park (under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult)
Women in the early stages of pregnancy should consult their doctor or midwife before booking
This experience can be booked on any day of the week except Christmas Day and New Years Day.
All bookings are subject to availability
Your experience will be for 30 minutes in total, although you are welcome to enjoy the venue all day if you wish
Although spectators will not be able to accompany the voucher holder during their experience, family & friends may pay normal admission prices to enter the park and enjoy the other attractions and animals
