Stunning décor, a beautiful bar, and a spectacular rooftop terrace with views over Leeds make Issho an unbeatable spot to while away the afternoon. The richness of Japanese culture meeting the charm of Britain isn’t just evident in the setting. Issho’s esteemed executive chef, Shane Zhao, and her talented team pair the two cultures, revitalising one of Britain’s greatest traditions with exquisite Japanese flavours and eye-catching dishes.

Issho’s afternoon tea boasts sweet and savoury delights alike. Delicately sliced sea bass and braised lamb shoulder pancakes are followed by treats such as yuzu meringue kisses and caramel purin. There’s plenty of choice to tantalise your taste buds with, accompanied by a selection of both traditional Japanese and English teas.

What happens on the day?

You’ll be greeted on arrival and taken through to your pre-booked table, where you’ll get a chance to take in Issho’s beautiful contemporary décor while the chefs prepare your afternoon tea. You’ll be presented with an array of delicious food, with four savoury choices and four sweet, as well as a selection of Japanese and British teas.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 9 months from the date of issue

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date

Service charge is excluded and will be charged on the day

The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

Availability

The experience is available Friday and Saturday from 12.00 to 15.00.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow 1 hour 30 minutes for the full experience.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
