Although we will still have to wait to watch this new season of The Mandalorian, we have new information to feed off of till that happy day arrives. For starters, a new teaser has been published, and yes, Grogu remains the charming star of the show. This trailer not only gives us some lovely aww moments, but it also gives us our first glimpse at a live-action Mandalore. Yep, you read that right, as well as the return of, drum roll please, Babu Frik! or at least a very good look alike.

We've only recently recovered from the release of Andor, but Disney+ is back at it, leaving us wanting more and delivering with this new trailer. This new video has certainly piqued our interest, as it provides numerous hints as to where this iconic team will take us following their excellent appearance in The Book of Boba Fett earlier this year.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Release Date

This hoped-for masterpiece is rumoured to appear in February 2023, as stated during Celebration Anaheim, but alas, that is all the information we have right now about the release date; don't worry, we will keep our ears to the ground for the latest! Regarding how many episodes we can binge watch, although this has not been verified, it is safe to assume that the new season will have eight episodes if the first two seasons are any indication.

Where To Watch the Mandalorain

We will have to wait for a while to watch the new season, but that doesn't mean we won't be entertained. Seasons one and two are now accessible on Disney+, so you can be fully prepared for the premiere in February 2023.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Cast

Some awesome news for Pedro Pascal fans: he will once again be dressed in the Din Djarin beskar armour, and he will be joined by the iconic green Grogu; if you don't own at least one item of Grogu merchandise, are you really a fan? All of this is fixable with IWOOT UK's selections right here.

The reunion isn't over yet; Giancarlo Esposito will return as the nefarious Moff Gideon. And with this villain among them, let us hope to repel this menace with bounty hunter guild leader Greef Karga, Peli Motto, and the Armorer, the weapons master, aiding in the destruction of this sinister character with wise counsel and the ultimate weapons. In terms of introducing new faces, we expect to see Babu Frik, the droidsmith, due to his debut in the new trailer.

The Mandalorian Summary

With the passage of time since Season two, it may be worthwhile to review what has occurred in order to better forecast what is to come. It's been quite a ride since we first met Din Djarin in 2019.

The first season provides glimpses into the past of the bounty hunter's life. We witnessed his family slaughtered by separatist droids during The Clone Wars, but Djarin was subsequently brought into the Mandalorian culture and trained in their ways.

His objective, which he accepted, was to capture the adorable Grogu, but Din protected the infant instead. The two, like many great duos, led us on amazing journeys while remnants of the crumbling Galactic Empire attempted to capture Grogu and use his Force.

As we near the end of season two, Djarin saves Grogu from Moff Gideon's ship, aided by his allies, Bo-Katan and her soldiers, and with the assistance of the infamous Jedi Master Luke Skywalker.

These two have also appeared in various Star Wars spin-offs since the end of season two. Although they are mostly separated, we see Djarin help in The Book of Boba Fett. We all missed Grogu, and thankfully, our wishes were granted when we watched this dynamic couple reconnect, like at the end of every great story, with Grogu once again in Djarin's arms.

What Can We Expect in Season 3?

The trailer is now our only clue into the plot, but based on what we know from season two after Moff Gideon was taken, it remains to be seen if he will be executed or sent to the gallows. All we can do while we sit with our Baby Yoda mugs in hand is speculate: will Gideon find a way to escape? Will Grogu still be in danger?

While Gideon is supposed to be out of service, he appears to have one last scheme. Throughout the second season, he has definitely received information from an anonymous party, which he directly mentions in the season 2 finale. Is there another key pawn in the Empire that we're not aware of?.

When discussing Grogu, we must consider what he is capable of. He refused Jedi training with Luke Skywalker in order to reconcile with Djarin, but would he be able to control his powers without the assistance of a Jedi?

Another confrontation is on the horizon now that the bounty hunter has claimed the Darksaber, which may not be good news for Bo-Katan, who believes the weapon should be hers as the Mandalore people's ruler. The battle for the legitimate owner of the Darksaber and the leader of Mandalore appears to be far from finished. Although Gideon is still vital, Bo-Katan is likely to steal the show and become a crucial opponent as she strives to obtain the Darksaber.
