There have been UFO's before, but never has there been one quite as brilliant as this. Aside from it's sturdy construction, this hovering wonder doesn't just hang in the air, but can zip about all over the place scaring the bejesus out of abductees, and filling the Roswell conspiracy theorists with hope. The RC Flying Saucer has four gyroscopically controlled rotors, and unlike previous RCs in the Flying Saucer department, which have needed a degree in aeronautics to fly, this handles in a remarkably similar way to a three or four channel helicopter, and boasts the claim of being the most controllable flying saucer on the market. We're not sure that there are that many flying saucers on the market for it to contend with, but there you go. A classical VTOL air-vehicle, the flying saucer, once airborne, becomes a multi-directional craft, and whilst the only aliens in it are in your head, you'll still be deeply impressed by its other-worldliness. Little LED lights flicker on the top of the saucer, and if you're anything like as stupid as us you'll be outside on the next windless dark night* trying to freak out your neighbours. Take the time to read the instructions, flying a vehicle like this isn't like riding a bike, but more like patting your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time, possibly while hopping. It can't be that hard to fly as we managed it (having flown a lot of helicopters), but don't do the typical novice 'boy thing' of power up, full throttle and smash. When you've cracked it it's so much more fun than other indoor flyers, and just a little bit weird.

*This is a stupid thing to do as it's an indoor flyer (wind will wipe it out), but we couldn't help ourselves. Fly this only in an internal, controlled, people and animal free environment. Anywhere else and it's your own funeral.
