Aside from the name sounding like something you'd shout when you banged your head, the Son of Hibachi does what all other portable BBQ's don't. Son of Hibachi, aside from being compact and highly portable, will light and be ready to cook in 7-10 minutes, has two adjustable height double cast iron grilling surfaces, will extinguish itself in a matter of minutes, is self cleaning (!!!!), keeps the ash in the BBQ for disposal later, comes with a snuff out pouch (so no waiting for coals to cool), and has legs to stop it scorching the ground. 'How on earth?' we hear you cry, or would if we were standing within earshot and you cried it. Well basically when in its folded position, the two grills act as a chimney, which more or less turns it into a blast furnace that gets the charcoal to cooking temperature in no time at all. When you're done cooking, you fold it back into the chimney shape and it burns itself out at such high temperatures that the super-heat burns all the grease and scraps from the grills. It also comes with a snuff out pouch which you can put the BBQ into even when it's red hot (it's made from the same stuff they make firemen's clothes out of). All the ashes collect in the base, the grills are designed so you hardly ever get flare up burning your food when you're cooking, the carrying handles become the legs, and, well, look they've just thought of everything, and packaged it up in a tough and beautifully well made, highly portable kit.
