Gorilla Pods
At last some bright spark has invented a compact, tough and flexible travel camera tripod that actually works. The Gorilla Pod, that comes in both compact and SLR sizes, is an ingenious and versatile tripod that'll support your camera pretty well anywhere.
With three super flexible and yet sturdy bendable legs, it will cling to branches, tables, rocks, and create a stable platform on any surface however rough and uneven. The top of the tripod has a super-slim slip plate that you can keep fixed onto the bottom of your camera or video, and then just click into place whenever you need. The flexible joints in the legs can rotate through 360 degrees to form the perfect shape on any terrain.
Our photographer has worked all over the world on travel assignments (jammy so and so), and he's blown away by the compactness, strength and versatility of the Gorilla Pod, and reckons it's the best travel tripod he's ever seen. Whether you need the mini one for a small digital camera, or the large version for your SLR or Video, this tripod can take the strain, and knocks the socks off any other travel tripod on the market.

Ingenious idea. I've been looking for a compact tripod for ages, and this is about the best I've come across. Plus, it does look particularly cool, too...
Phil, Cardiff
This is sucha cool tripod, my girlfriend, who knows nothing about photography, keeps stealing it as well! Not sure why...
P Shah, London
A Gorilla Pod is one of the best things I have ever bought off the internet. It's twice as good as I expected. Yes it does give a perfect steady shot each time, but it also makes my camera look like a tripod off War of the Worlds!
Bob P, Nottingham
brilliant gadget - lightweight, easy to use - perfect for people with limited use of their hands
Joanne , Manchester
Simply an indispensable bit of kit! Took it with me on holiday and had it hanging off trees, hugging railings, grappling rocks, and halping to capture the beautiful San Diego Sky Line! A must have...
Matthew B, Leeds
I got this for my boyfriend for christmas as he is really into photography. He ended up attaching it to the passenger seat in his mini and filmed his own mini adventure! He is very pleased with the gorrilla pod and boasts about it to anyone who will listen. Great Prezzie!
Hannah, Fairy Land
Really good, easy to use and you never have to be left out of a photo again!
Michelle, Welwyn Garden City
I used the Gorilla Pods and thought they were great. I went on a camping holiday and stuck them on every surface. The compact one is better for standing on rough surfaces and the SLR pod for clinging to trees. I have now bought them for the rest of my family. Thanks IWOOT.
Lewis, Stairs
Just got one for my camera. It's great for taking photos with yourself in them as you don't have to place the camera on a surface where the angle always seems to be bad. Also good for surprise photos! Well worth it!
Thomas, Glasgow
Three gangly, articulate and dextrous legs, with surprisingly sticky feet. No King Kong hasn't stepped in glue and had his arm amputated. It's the Gorilla Pod silly! By the way, it CAN wrap round a coconut tree like the photo on the product page! (I checked whilst in Zanzibar.) It was product testing I say!
