The Binary Clock, the ultimate gizmo for people who laugh in the face of time, play tiddlywinks on the lap of destiny, and boil bratwurst in the kitchen of fate. Anyone can have a clock that every Tom Dick and Henrietta (21st century version) can read, so where's the fun in that? This one sails freely against the wisdom that it should be easy to tell the time by having no hands at all, and displaying the time in Binary Code via blue LEDs.
The gently blinking lights mark out the passage time in what appears to be a completely random way - except of course there's nothing random about the passage of time, even if it does seem like it sometimes. There are three brightness settings for the LEDs and the clock's mains powered. Telling the time is a simple as doing a killer sudoku in the dark. The clock uses six columns of lights, each column represents a number value from 0-9. The 2 columns on the left indicate hours, the middle 2 are minutes, the right 2 are seconds. With us so far? The value of each column is determined by which lights are on. Yeah right, whatever, look it's not about being able to tell the time (even if you are clever enough), it's about being odd, cool and slightly strange - also it looks great as the seconds flash by in different patterns that only R2D2 can understand.

A great gizmo. A little awkward to get used to at first but once it's figured out you'll wonder how you did without it. I'd recommend this to everybody. FANTASTIC!

Rubbish. I bought this, and hated it. terrible.
There, i really made an anecdote out of that one! Maybe in a future disaster we can all gather round the burning books and listen. ;).
Nah, it's a very, very kool gadget. Although when my girlfriend saw it she thought I might have been smoking something not entirely street legal, but I don't care. Explaining how it works to friends it a real delight, especially as most of them are technophobes, and know no more about binary than a bear cub knows the history of the Anglo -Saxon tribes. You really do feel a right tech-wizard talking about binary. Only problem is, when children look at the clock they tend to think it's a dalek or a time-travel gadget and they start saying: 'Here's Johnny!', or 'Open Sesame'. doesn't work. Thanks IWOOT for another good sale

Quite frankly the most amazing clock in the whole world. My bedroom has been transformed into a land where only I can tell the time, great for getting rid of unwanted visitors!

Amazing clock! My sister is a freak when it comes to being on time but when she's at my house this is the only clock downstairs - it makes her go mad. I couldn't stop laughing, thanks a load iwoot!

The uber orbs I bought were a Christmas present for my boyfriend and now I'm really regretting buying them...he spends more time with them than he does with me! He heavily hinted that he'd like them as a gift, but I didn't realise quite how much! They're a fantastic, time-wasting gift and it's amazing how many different things you do with them.

Hi everybody! In the begining i want to say sory for my english - i'm from poland, so it's not very good.
I dont have binary watch, but i love it, and i will buy it soon. It's the best clock ever. You can shock the friends, parents, and teachers at school (they will not belive that it's a clock!). I know that every mounth you are giving gift voucher, so if i will win this (but i don't think so) i will buy this binary watch... But i know that you will not give me this voucher (i'm from poland), but i wanted to send this coment.
I love binary watch, and i love this shop. When i will buying binary watch, maybe i will but it here (here is cheaper than in poland).
Have a nice day everybody!

I got this clock for Christmas and was eyeing it up for a very long time before that! It's a great clock and watching my friends spend 10 minutes working out the time is great. The only downside I have with it is, my room is very small so it lights it up like blackpool pier (even on the dim setting).
