Great Concept - Poor Quality

This item caught my eye before Xmas and was purchased as a Christmas gift for a friend who basically leaves spare change around the house everywhere! The concept of this product is really good on paper and at a glance the unit looks really cool. However, the product itself feels very flimsy and appears to be made from cheap plastic. The whirling sound seemed laboured and became annoying after a while. Several coins were put into the unit - most went to their respective 'holders' though a number of coins remained in the sorter itself. This product has only been used a few times and has since been returned to me. There is now no power at all - yes, the batteries have been replaced (twice). To be honest, I would not recommend this product - although in fairness, we are in the process of hopefully obtaining a replacement, so the next one might work perfectly. Great concept, shame about the quality.
