Nice idea, poorly executed

Bought myself one of these while Christmas shopping on iwoot- a complete waste of money . First use was ok - lamp was slightly dimmer than expected (had trouble seeing the keyboard in a dark room) but was acceptable for the price. Used it for a couple hours each night. By day 3 the lamp no longer stood up on its own - it kept twisting at the USB port. Not sure why since I didn't bend it after the first use- just unplugged it and lay it on the desk. Day 4 and the light simply stopped working altogether... I first thought it might be my old laptop but having tried it on 3 others it's definitely the bulb.

Bright light

I bought this for my brother as an Xmas present ..I am so impressed I intend buying one for myself. Needless to say ..he had that 'light bulb' moment and absolutely adores it as he lives in an old cottage and it's really dark in there ..bit now he can see the keys ..danger ..beware xx

Fun idea

This does exactly what it says. It is luminous so you could find your computer in the dark if you needed to. The lamp stands up on its own so you can work by its light. It's more of a curiousity then an essential item.
