A unique opportunity to get “Hands On” and experience the awesome might of the iconic American Hummer in its element, off road. Using the power of its 6.5l V8 engine climb severe slopes, descend banks, side slopes in excess of 30 degrees, manoeuvre extreme changes in terrain and negotiate mud and water. A Challenging course set out in a mix of open and wooded terrain.

Introduction to instructor and general safety briefing
Hummer familiarisation, history of our vehicle, attributes and controls.
Demonstration of Hummer and description of driving techniques with an instructor driving.
Driving session in the Hummer H1.
Allow approx 2 ½ hours for your visit, of which you will spend approx. 45 minutes at the wheel.

Upon arrival you will be met by a member of staff who will show you to the on site cabin where refreshments are served, during which time you will be asked to sign a declaration before taking part. You are then introduced to the instructors and given a general site and vehicle safety briefing whilst being shown the Hummer to familiarise yourself with it's features and unique attributes, your instructor will also give you a brief insight to the history of the vehicle.
The instructor will explain the vehicle controls and give you an eye opening demonstration of the Hummers awesome off road capability. Steep banks up to 45 degrees, side slopes in excess of 30 degrees, ditches, ridges, mud and water plus some especially constructed obstacles that no other standard road going four wheel drive vehicle can negotiate.
Then it's your chance to drive this amazing vehicle as you tackle a section of the course. Starting on a flat area to get you used to the width and the length of the vehicle and general use of all the controls you will progress on to more challenging obstacles culminating in actually driving the instructor's demonstration route. At the end of the session you will be served some well earned refreshments.

Participants must hold a full and valid UK or European driving license.
Participants must be generally fit to drive; it is advisable not to take part if you suffer from any heart related conditions. Any medical condition that guests feel may be relevant but not necessarily stop them participating must be disclosed at the time of booking so that in the event of an emergency the instructor is aware.
Each participant must sign a declaration to confirm they hold a full and valid driving license and that they are fit to drive and participate in the event.
Spectators are welcome at no extra cost, kindly note that a maximum of 2 spectators per voucher holder are permitted on site.
Session will be within a small group.
