With the all new iKaraoke you can now bring the fun of X Factor to your iPod without the embarrassment of a panel of judges tearing you apart. This clever microphone plugs into your iPod and lets you sing away to your favourite tracks. The Mic brings your vocals to the front of the track and makes your voice sound fantastic (though it can't sadly make you sing in tune) by adding great base and reverb. Not only that, but the gizmo can also beam your voice and the music to your stereo by FM broadcast, so you can crank the volume up on your stereo and blast the paint off your walls. If that wasn't enough, there's a clever little button on the mic that will suppress the vocals on the track, so you sound even better - though possibly not better that the original vocalist, unless you really fancy yourself. Play, pause, forward and back buttons on the mic let you skip through tracks on your iPod, and you can also plug headphones into the unit to listen to your efforts up close and personal. Of all the myriad iPod accessories out there, this has to be without doubt the most fun.
