Guitar Rock Star
Playing Air Guitar is (aside from being just a little sad) a fundamental part of listening to rock music. The only problem with it is that there is that nagging lack of closure, that suspicion that basically you're just waving your arms about doing, well, nothing much. Happily you can now add some authenticity and a whole lot more fun to the experience thanks to the Guitar Rockstar. This daft piece of kit provides you with the head and neck of a guitar and, believe it or not, invisible infra-red strings. You simply strum (or probably thrash) where the strings would be, and as your hand passes through the invisible beam, your efforts are rewarded by the sound coming out of the head. How brilliant is that? The head holds eight pre-recorded classic rock songs you can play along to - 'Wild Thing' by The Troggs, 'Smoke on the Water' by Deep Purple and 'I Love Rock n Roll' by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts to name but a few, or you can free play and use the buttons on the neck to control your chords from A to G. There are also input and output jacks so you can hook it up to speakers if you're feeling brave, or headphones if you're feeling charitable. It's probably the most portable guitar ever made (albeit a toy one) and the ultimate accessory for any Air Guitarist who feels there's something missing...
Please note, this product is exempt from all special promotions and discount offers.

The lights flash manically... Smoke rises around the group of silhouettes onstage... The crowd jumps and screams... A screech from the guitar ripples across the packed space... Then the percussion kicks in and we?re away?
I jerk out of my reverie with a cough; the dreams of super stardom evaporate. I turn off the Laserpod with a sigh. But all is not lost! ? in front of me sits a box emblazoned with a purple logo; my life has been a facsimile of a sham until this moment. [A frenzy of ripping cardboard ensues] ?
[Some time later] ? I bask in the glow of my glory, face still flushed with exertion, while trying to finger-comb my hair into something resembling order. No, I haven?t just completed a particularly challenging spreadsheet, or played a sold-out Wembley stadium, but rocked out using my new best friend, GUITAR ROCK STAR. My dreams of rock eminence may still be just that, my finger-numbing riffs may not be on par with those of Matt Bellamy, and I wouldn?t know how to play a Les Paul if it smacked me round the head ? but now my fantasies can become [semi]reality as I strum through my days with this highly portable, good looking, extremely annoying and fantastic fun gadget. Must buy for any wannabe rock star? Now where?s that finger drum kit?
